The Cross Brothers on Sky 1 “Game Changers”

08 May 2014, 11:10.

Harry and Sam Cross were asked to appear on Sky 1 and Sky Sports 1′s ‘Game Changers’, a children’s television programme aiming to get more children involved in sport. They filmed a VT prior to the live show where the St. Luke’s School skip team were featured, and where Harry and Sam introduced the sport.

On 3rd May, they travelled to Sky Studios in Isleworth, London, to film the live TV show. The boys were interviewed on the show, taught tricks to some of the audience members, then performed a demo showcasing what can be learnt with a bit of practice! Finally, they were back in the studio and skipped with England cricketer, Michael Carberry, and Olympic gymnast & Strictly Come Dancing Champion, Louis Smith.
It was a great morning filming and spreading the word of rope skipping throughout the UK. Both the live audience and the viewers at home were highly engaged and enjoyed the show, as well as the producers/directors!

Here are the clips from the day: (Pre-recorded VT) (Interview) (Demo is 4 minutes in)
